Introduction

In this year, I do not have a primary level. I have seven groups, six  in a private highschool and two in a public high school:)
Regarding my two groups in a public highschool, I have two first grades.
They are my closest experience with school. These classes are a big challenge because the students are very childish and quite hyperactive and, altough I am an active person, I find it dificult to keeep them engaged and focused.

As I have only a 45 minutes lesson almost every day, I have to present them short and engaging activities and I  also have to be fast and precise with instructions and explanations.
Behaviour management is an issue too. I have classes of 25 students which still do not know how to behave correctly in a classroom. They show lack of respect among themselves and towards the teacher and they cannot get to a good atmosphere of work most of the day because silence is never present.

Still, most of students show themselves engaged with the language and have a good relationship with me. I believe that, it takes time to get them used to adapt to a certain classroom behavior and to follow some steps in order to have a good class atmosphere. I like challenges and they are both good groups.

  1. I appreciate that your linguistic performance has improved greatly. At least you have been careful about it. There are few mistakes: "I have a 45-minute-lesson..."

  2. There is reflection and evidence of how you feel you have grown as a teacher. Regarding the sections there's still one missing: the one that had to be created by you.
You have improved your lingüístic performance though some mistakes still escape edition. Regarding reflection it needs more connection to materials shared about the reflective teacher.
The final grade for the portfolio is 8.
